The terms you agree to by using AfroFertility. Last updated 3 August 2026.
This site is education, not medical care, and nothing here is a diagnosis. If you are worried about your fertility, see a doctor. If you have severe pain, swelling or bleeding, treat it as urgent and seek care immediately rather than reading further.
What this site is
AfroFertility publishes general educational material about male fertility, and lists fertility clinics in Nigeria so they are easier to find. It is written for men trying to understand a semen analysis or work out what to do next.
Using this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Nobody here is treating you, and we cannot see your results, your history or your circumstances. Content is written for a general reader and may not apply to you.
Content is not medically reviewed
Articles are researched against sources including the WHO laboratory manual and peer-reviewed literature, and those sources are cited. They are not currently reviewed by a clinician before publication. Our editorial policy explains how content is produced and what would have to change for that to be different.
The tools
The parameter checker compares figures you type in against published WHO 2021 reference values. The BMI and ovulation calculators apply standard formulas. They do not diagnose anything, do not store what you enter, and a result inside or outside a reference range is not a verdict on whether you can conceive. Only a clinician reading your full report can tell you that.
The clinic directory
- A listing is not an endorsement. We list clinics so they can be found. We do not vouch for the quality of care at any of them.
- Details may be wrong or out of date. Confirm addresses, phone numbers, services and prices directly with the clinic before you travel or pay.
- We are not party to anything between you and a clinic. Any treatment, cost or outcome is a matter between you and them.
If a listing about your clinic is wrong, or you want it removed, email us and we will correct it.
Affiliate links
Some links to books, screening kits or supplements earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed where it applies. A commission does not buy a placement or a recommendation, and none of these products diagnose or treat anything.
Newsletter
Subscribing means we email you about male fertility. You can unsubscribe from any email. We do not sell or rent the list.
Using our content
The writing, tools and design on this site belong to us. You are welcome to read, print and share pages, and to quote us with a link. Republishing substantial parts, or using the content to train or populate another service, needs written permission.
Links to other sites
We link to clinics, research and other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.
Limits
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from decisions taken on the basis of what you read here, from errors in a clinic listing, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means the current version applies.
